Overview

  • Drive Time: 1.25 hours (75 km) via Bruce Hwy → Glass House Mountains National Park.
  • Difficulty: Moderate
  • Hike Stats: 2.5 km out-and-back, 200 m elevation gain, 2–2.5 hours.
  • Route:
    1. Park at Mount Ngungun Car Park.
    2. Hike uphill through eucalypt forest, with rocky sections.
    3. Summit Mount Ngungun (253 m) for 360° views of Glass House Mountains and Moreton Bay.
    4. Descend via the same path.

  • Highlights: Iconic volcanic peaks, panoramic coastal/hinterland views, wildflowers (spring).
How to Carpool
  • Carpool You will be assigned a vehicle. Check your confirmation email for your driver’s details. Let your driver scan your QR code to access your carpool service. Please stay with your driver throughout the trip.
