Overview

  • Drive Time: 1.75 hours (110 km) via Pacific Hwy → Beaudesert → Lamington National Park.
  • Difficulty: Easy–Moderate
  • Hike Stats: 4.4 km out-and-back, 120 m elevation gain, 1.5 hours.
  • Route:
    1. Start at Green Mountains Visitor Centre.
    2. Hike through ancient subtropical rainforest along Morans Creek.
    3. Reach Morans Falls lookout (views over gorge and falls).
    4. Return via the same trail.

  • Highlights: Dense rainforest, waterfall views, diverse birdlife (e.g., bowerbirds), ancient trees.
How to Carpool
